The Killers Edge

The Killers Edge

The Killers Edge (no apostrophe so even the title makes no sense) is a wonderful display of nonsense by two acting heavy weights in Wings Hauser and Robert Z’Dar. This film doesn’t take itself seriously in any way and teeters on the edge of parody for its running time. It’s not exactly action packed but don’t look away from the screen because you never know when Wings Hauser is going to just shoot someone out of nowhere.

Whole theses could be written about Hauser’s struggle with his masculinity and even, possibly, his sexuality in this film. Relentlessly treating his woman like garbage, despite her seeming pretty reasonable, because men and women fight, right? At no point should we show any emotion, yes? Because we are MEN - oh wait is that a ‘Nam flashback involving Wings and Z’Dar having a giggle filled, male bonding moment shooting bottles out of each other’s hands?!? Then here come the manly waterworks. A single squeezed out tear of nostalgia for hanging around with guys, shooting stuff, in a jungle. Oh them were the days….

Anyway, watch as many PM Entertainment films as possible, they’re glorious!
